Hello, I am Pastor Ron, thank you for visiting our church online. Our goal here at First Assembly of God is to help you hit a spiritual home run. God has a great plan for your life and we want to help you discover it. ARE YOU SAVED?
Do you have a spiritual birth date? You have a physical birth date. Jesus talked about a spiritual birthday.
John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
A spiritual birth date is the time that you ask Christ to forgive you of your sins. I remember the night that I ask Christ to forgive me of my sins. If you have never ask Christ to forgive you of your sins you can do that right now. Here is how.
1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner. Rom 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." The Bible teaches us that we are all sinners.
2. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 16:31 "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." You must believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, that He lived a sinless life and that He died on the Cross for the sins of every person who has ever lived, and that He arose from the dead on the third day, and have paid for your sins by the shedding of His blood.
3.Confess: Rom. 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Pray this prayer out loud.
"Thank you, God, for loving me, a sinner, and for sending Your Son to pay the penalty for my sin. Right now I put my trust in His death and resurrection for my salvation and receive the eternal life that You offer me through Him. Thank You for hearing this prayer, and cleansing me of all my sin through Christ's blood, and accepting me now as Your child. Teach me and direct me through Your Word and Your Spirit to discover Your purpose and will for my life. Amen."
